SAVE THE DATE!
We are excited to come together on September 26 & 27 to offer a two-evening urban retreat in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation:
An Invitation to Transform:
Yin Yoga & Indigenous Ways of Being & Knowing
September 26 & 27, 2026 | 5–8 PM
Casa Copal | Vancouver
Together, Chastity Davis-Alphonse of Deyen – An Invitation to Transform and Danielle Hoogenboom of Love Light Yoga are creating an embodied experience that weaves Yin Yoga with Indigenous ways of being and knowing, making space for rest, reflection, relationship, story, movement and connection.
We have intentionally chosen to gather in the days leading into the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Reconciliation is not only something we talk about or intellectually understand. It is relational.
It invites us to slow down, to listen differently, to be present with ourselves and with one another, and to consider how we might live in better relationship.
Over these two evenings, we will invite you into that space through our respective practices, teachings and lived experiences, creating an opportunity to connect with ourselves, with one another, and with different ways of being and knowing.
This gathering will be intimate, gentle and welcoming. You do not need to be an experienced Yogi to join us. All levels welcome.
For now, save the dates — September 26 & 27, from 5–8 PM.
More details and registration information coming very soon. Email Danielle@lovelightyoga.com to save your spot!
We look forward to gathering with you.
